Every big movement starts with bold first steps. Launched in November 2024, We Dissent Independent Media began as one voice committed to challenging the status quo and empowering civic agency. While still early in our journey, we’re rapidly evolving into a fearless platform dedicated to amplifying democratic voices, uncovering truths, and inspiring action.

November 2024 - Launch
Our network began with a bold vision: to amplify civic voices, decode power structures, and reclaim democracy through fearless storytelling and independent journalism. Driven by a commitment to truth and justice, We Dissent Independent Media took its first steps toward empowering communities and fostering informed civic engagement.
August 2025 - Our First Episode
We published our inaugural podcast episode, marking the beginning of our journey in delivering powerful narratives, challenging mainstream assumptions, and amplifying underrepresented perspectives.
August 2025 – Digital Expansion
We officially launched our dynamic online presence, creating a welcoming digital home designed to grow our community, amplify stories, and further strengthen democratic dialogue.
Fall 2025 – Content Growth & Consistency
Focused on expanding our content footprint, we’ll increase regular episode production and begin daily civic commentary to reach, engage, and empower a broader audience.
Winter 2025/26 – Community & Collaborations
We’ll prioritize community-building initiatives, host our first live virtual events, and form strategic collaborations with civic leaders, creators, and activists to elevate our collective impact.
Spring 2026 – Audience Milestone
